Lighthouse Youth & Family Services

A message from our President and CEO

The health and safety of our employees, volunteers, and those we serve is our highest priority. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads, I wanted to reach out and share with you what Lighthouse is doing:

  • We are providing uninterrupted services to youth who are homeless and those in our shelters and residential care locations. This includes meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and providing necessities.
  • Our outpatient behavioral health and school-based service providers are utilizing telehealth to stay connected with our clients.
  • We are accepting referrals via phone, fax, or email. We have suspended walk-ins at our Integrated Access Center.

We're all asked to stay at home as part of prevention efforts and quarantine if we are sick. Lighthouse and our foster parents are home to nearly 400 young people each night and provide care for many more.

Our commitment to serving those who need us is something you can rely on now as you have for the past 50 years.

During this time of uncertainty, the young people we serve need your help more than ever. Your first priority should always be yourself and your family. But, if you can, here are some ways you can make a difference right away:

  • Donate gift cards to cover the cost of meals at our shelters and residential care locations. Suggestions include Kroger, Walmart, LaRosa’s and Domino’s.

If you have any questions about these or other ways you can help, please contact Jessica Wabler at or 513-379-8695.

We are grateful for your continued support. Together we will get through this.

Stay well,

Paul Haffner, President and CEO
